Happy Friday lovelies! Today I thought I’d do a little review on one of my favorite highlighters. I’m a sucker for a good highlighter that doesn’t make my fair skin look dirty, and this one happens to be one of them. This is a relatively new highlighter from Stila, its Heaven’s Hue Highlighter, the color I am reviewing is called Transcendence, its an opalescent pink. Such a pretty color.
You get .35oz in the pan, now I’m not sure if that is standard, I have looked at a lot of highlighters and they vary greatly from .2oz to .35oz -craziness-. Is cost’s $32.00. The claim on Ulta’s website said… Bouncy to touch -which it is!- Radiance enchaining, gossamer, light and melts into skin for a barely there feel. Ultra fine, light diffusing particles help skin look “lit from within” with a soft luminous natural glow.
Now the reason I chose this shade is because I have fair skin and anything with the slightest hint of bronze, or gold will make me look funky. So I choose light highlighters. This one is so soft to the touch, it feels like butter or silk, I cant decide. It does give a wonderful glow, it doesn’t look purple like the photo, it gives off a slight pink, silvery glow, I don’t want to say duo chrome, because its really not. It has does not kick up powder, and it really does melt into the skin. It is rather sheer as you will see in the pictures. However you can build it up. I love this highlighter its one of my most reached for, besides my Cover FX. I definitely recommend it, they do have two other shades that are slightly darker due to the fact that the are more of a nude and bronze colored
-Kitten which is a shimmering nude pink and Bronze which is a sun kissed glow-
