Review: Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector Serum

Hello Lovelies! Well I’m finally back and with a review at that, YAY! My review is on the Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector Serum. I used it for a little over a month and well it didn’t do what everyone and their sister claimed.

The Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector Serum claims are as followed, •smooths skins surface•reduce appearance of wrinkles•reduce appearance of pores•improves skins texture. It also claims after 3 days of use skins texture is refined and pores are less visible and in 4 weeks wrinkles, pores and skin texture are visibly corrected. Now Lancôme claimed all this on both ‘clinical test, of 108 women in a 4 week study and also on consumer evaluations of all subjects tested at 4 weeks.’
Now I used this serum for about 5 weeks, I bought this serum after speaking to both the Lancôme counter at my Belk store and my Ulta, I also spoke to some of my Ulta girls (I go there A LOT and I’ve developed a close relationship with the girls working there so I trust them) and I also read beau coups of reviews on it before I spent $79 on a 1.0oz bottle. So I had high high hopes for this serum and I was super excited, however after the first full day of wear that’s morning and night application, the next morning I woke up to a breakout that was not there the day before. I brushed it off as just being a girl and having hormones and everything else, well at the end of week 1 not only had I not seen any kind of change my face had a few more break outs and my face was SUPER oily. I was a little frustrated, but I kept up the routine just to see if things settled down and got better for my face… they did not😠 Not only was my entire chin broken out, my nose was also, along with that my face was producing so much oil it was gross and I also wasn’t seeing any of the results as “promised” I was and still am really upset.

So in short this product did not work for me at all, now that’s not to say it wont work for the next 50 women after me, I do have sensitive skin, but I don’t think Ive ever had this bad of a reaction. In my personal opinion this serum is not worth the money, it ranges from $79 to $185 depending on the size(1.0oz – 3.4oz), I definitely will not be purchasing this again. I’m not saying I don’t recommend it because it was so highly recommended to me, and I love Lancôme products, I love their foundations, powders, concealers, eye creams, etc… However this product is not for me and my skin. So in the end I cautiously recommend this product due to the outcome of my experience and the fact that it is a little pricey but after all ‘skincare is an investment’
