Hello Lovelies, hope all is well. Some of you know that my favorite YouTuber is thataylaa, so of course I’ve bought a few things because of her, how can I not she’s pale and I usually wear the same shade of foundation as she does. Today I wanted to talk about all the things I bought because of her, I didn’t realize how much I bought until I sat down and made the list… I’m weak lol. So lets move on to the list and whether or not the products worked for me…
ThaTaylaa Made Me Buy It:
•Physicians Formula Eye Booster Lash 2-in-1 Boosting Eyeliner: This is Taylors holy grail eyeliner and so of course I had to try it, it didn’t work well for me, I tried it about 8-10 times and it just didn’t work for me so this was a pass.
•Cerave Hydrating Micellar Water: So she started using this because of her dry skin, now I have combo skin but the finish this gives my skin after using in the morning. It gives me a healthy glow and no oily residue. This is a definite keeper for me.
•Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Blur (R20): She uses this powder for under eyes, I use it all over my face. I like the powder, but to be a powder foundation its light coverage so I use it to set my face, I use a light hand. I haven’t noticed its blurring effect but I still like it so I’ll keep it.
•Wet ‘n’ Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit High-Shine Lipstick (Caught You Bare Naked): I am in love with shade such a pretty nude “gloss” it’s technically supposed to be a lipstick but to me is seem more gloss like, either way I love it.
•Wet ‘n’ Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick (Nudie Patootie): beautiful mate nude grey color. Works well it our pale skin, gonna be even better for fall and winter.
•CYO Lifeproof Foundation (101): This is Taylors go to foundation she loves it and raves about it, so naturally I had to try it and the few times I’ve worn it I’ve been very pleased so far. The coverage isn’t opaque full coverage but almost, it sits on the skin beautifully and doesn’t feel heavy. So this has become a new favorite foundation for me.
•Soap and Glory Kick Ass Foundation (01): I haven’t tried this one but she said it’s a dupe for the CYO foundation. So I wanted to try as well.
•ELF Cosmetics Poreless Putty: I tried this because she said it was a dupe for the Tatcha Primer. I’m still not a fan of the ELF primer, I’ve tried it about 6 times now and I’m not impressed.
•Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer: She raves about this primer and how it does “magical” things so I bought the mini (I tried my best to resist) and I’m so glad I did… I love this primer especially what it does for my nose, I helps with my oily little nose so much it really is “magical”
•Dermacol (208): so when I first saw her review on this amazing foundation years ago, I was intrigued, it was full coverage and a little went along way. This as some of you may know is my Holy Grail foundation. I love it, full coverage, it isn’t heavy and sit beautifully on the skin.
•Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect: this was a recent find for Taylor and she loves it, it has a dry consistency and does wonders with my lashes. Plus its cheap!
•Catrice Prime and Fine dewy Glow Finish Spray: This is another holy grail for Taylor and I finally decided to try it… It doesn’t do anything longevity wise but it does transform you makeup. I absolutely love this spray. If your makeup is looking cakey or heavy douse your face in this and BOOM everything melts together giving you a beautiful natural glow without looking oily. Remember to shake it.
•LA Girl Sponge: Taylor prefers this bright pink sponge over Real Techniques and BeautyBlender and said it works both wet and dry. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m getting ready to and when I do I’ll update everyone.
As you can see ThaTaylaa is a big influence on me when it comes to beauty, I trust her more than other influencers. Remember to go check out her YouTube channel as well.
Until Next Time…
